Dr. Meghan Epperly is excited to be joining the Botetourt Veterinary Hospital team! Originally a Maryland native, she graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Animal Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2014.  She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, and has been practicing in the Lynchburg and Moneta areas ever since. She firmly believes that pets are family, and is dedicated to treating every animal as if they were her own. Dr. Epperly’s professional interests include ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, geriatric and palliative care, and teaching. She currently lives in the Bedford area with her husband, two beagles, one cat, and a brand new baby girl. In her free time, she can be found horseback riding, gardening, and learning calligraphy.
