Dr. Brooks joined the BVH family in 2023. A Central Florida native, he received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from the University of Central Florida. He is a 2021 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. During the week, he is a research fellow at Virginia Tech Carilion, primarily in developmental neuroscience. His primary veterinary interests are in wellness, imaging, and the human-animal bond. He lives with his fiancée Dr. Cassie Hill, who practices at Vinton Veterinary Hospital, one of our sister clinics. Together they have three dogs, two cats, and several smaller pets. In his free time, he enjoys grilling, reading, and exploring the Roanoke Valley with his family.
